my first week at basic military training and I took off my belt to help make a guy's bed on time
our instructor saw me without the belt on and came right for me
we have strict dress code so if anythings off you'll probably get blasted for it
he asks where my belt is and why it isn't on my body and I say right there, I took it off to make the bed
"then ask your web belt to get on your body"
and that was my punishment until he left

they made us use the belt really tight before and I couldn't bend over
and if it wasn't perfect before he came our whole flight would get punished so at least it was just me

I have a friend who almost got stuck in the military instead of doing what he loved just cuz his family wanted it
same thing with me and med school
