[well, school aside for now-- this place definitely had the feel of an asian style cake shop. He glances around, before settling on the menu. It was a... much more intimate venue than he was expecting.

Ah, but they had teas. So, it'd be fine not getting a cake.]

I've actually never been in here. It's smaller than I thought it'd be.

[ ooh, and look at that menu! the cakes sound so good, and ann's especially craving the ones with fruit toppings on them. sounds delicious. ann's a little preoccupied with staring at the menu for a good minute or so before walking over to the cashier and ordering

Yeah! It's the best. I...have a little bit of a sweet tooth.

[he grabs his tea from the clerk, thanking her really quick before turning back to Ann]

Well... it's okay. I just don't eat it, often.

[ ann, on the other hand, grabs her three cake slices before going to grab a seat. it really is small in here, but it's comfortable, modern music playing softly in the background. ]

Really? Well... I guess you don't really seem like a dessert kind of person.

[ oh...realizing that...makes her pause for a second. ]

I'm sorry, I totally dragged you here, didn't I?

I had to show you where it was. And it's not like I came in here and awkwardly watched you eat.

[ he has his tea? yeah, mako totally seems like a tea kind of guy. so, we're good! ]
