he asked me the same thing, and i know him. i also know why he was asking-- it was because of some dumb bet he had going. we had a long talk about how easy it is to misunderstand texts like that.

yeah, i'm fine. we ended up having to destroy a power station in the subway though, so i guess they're not going to be up and running for even longer now.

anyway, i've known prompto for years now. since high school at least. we were always okay friends, but i think everything that's happened has made it a lot easier to talk to him. and yeah, he made a dumb bet, but it fits in with what i know about him.

I agree that seeing people you've known on Retrospec kinda...brings you closer to them? I wound up speaking to a lot of my high school classmates that I never spoke to before because of Retrospec. Honestly...I didn't really have many friends before all of this happened. Is it bad that I'm thankful for Retrospec for that?

i don't have a weapon... and the steel pipe we had was getting really bent out of shape. i still kind of have a headache from them hitting me in the head. so we just used their momentum against them.

it's not bad. i wouldn't have met a few people i'm good friends with now, if not for retrospec. outside of prompto and my brother, i didn't have a lot of friends either. i guess it's the one positive thing i've seen for sure.

Yup! The one positive among all the...negatives. Like the weird people who work there, the invasion of privacy... But at least the other people using it are really awesome so far.

i don't know. you're the first person i've talked to in a different group. might not be a bad idea to get a sense of what's going on with the other groups. but retrospec feels like a ghost town right now.

I tried throwing it at a wall and it just bounced around. I...guess it's sort of like a pet?

nah, my place is fine. it wasn't on the ground floor, where most of the damage is, which works out for me pretty well. what about your place?

It does follow me around. I mean, it's kinda cute...and I haven't had to do anything to it so far, so maybe it's just here for the ride?

I think the dorms are fine! And I'm at the university on this group assignment so home is really close for me. Pretty convenient, right?

well, make sure you take care of it. a pet's a big responsibility, even one that takes after the blob.

and lucky. the subway's close to my apartment, but i still come out every day feeling like i need a shower or two.

Really? Wow, I hate the heat... Makes my hair frizz up and everything. Even walking back to my dorm is making me feel like I need to shower asap.

yeah... it's never been much of a problem for me. i'd rather be hot than cold. which... is good for the summer here.
